What is Stashmark?
Stashmark is a privacy-first bookmark manager. Save, organize, and preserve your bookmarks with folders, tags, highlights, and full-page preservation.
How is Stashmark different from browser bookmarks?
Browser bookmarks are tied to a single browser and have limited organization. Stashmark works across all browsers and devices, offers tags and folders, text highlighting, full-page preservation, and a searchable archive.
Which browsers are supported?
The web app works in any modern browser. The extension is available for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
Privacy & Security
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored on servers in Europe.
Is my data encrypted?
All connections use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with Argon2id. 2FA secrets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Database encryption depends on your PostgreSQL configuration.
Can Stashmark staff see my bookmarks?
On the hosted version, data is accessible to the operator for debugging but is never shared or sold.
