Importing Bookmarks

Stashmark supports importing bookmarks from browsers and other bookmark managers.

Supported formats

• Browser HTML export — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (Netscape Bookmark File format)
• CSV — Generic CSV with URL and title columns

tip

Most bookmark managers can export to HTML or CSV format.

Importing from your browser

Chrome

1. Open Chrome and go to Bookmarks → Bookmark Manager (chrome://bookmarks)
2. Click the three-dot menu → Export bookmarks
3. Save the HTML file
4. In Stashmark, go to Settings → Import and upload the file

Firefox

1. Open Firefox and press Ctrl+Shift+O to open the Library
2. Click Import and Backup → Export Bookmarks to HTML
3. Save the HTML file
4. In Stashmark, go to Settings → Import and upload the file

Safari

1. Open Safari and go to File → Export Bookmarks
2. Save the HTML file
3. In Stashmark, go to Settings → Import and upload the file

Importing from other services

Export bookmarks from your current service (Pocket, Raindrop.io, Pinboard, etc.) as HTML or CSV, then upload to Stashmark via Settings → Import.

Folder structure from your export will be preserved where possible.
